The Great Fusion is a third person graphic adventure set in the year 2022: society has truly changed. Rich people are richer and poor people are even poorer. Laws are absurd, the Copyright crusaders prosecute free culture and large corporations are managed by incompetents. And that’s science fiction, righ?

As the whole world appeared to be unified, borders were created to separate the rich area from the poor one. The age of unification has come, in what is known as "The Great Fusion".

Max, a young and brilliant programmer, will fall into poverty and will fight to make a living trying to avoid falling for his own ignorance, experiencing thousands of crazy situations, amidst countless nods to classic graphic adventures and films from pop culture.

Hilarious dialogs, videos of kittens, Quentin, Woody, robots, security officers in shorts, a lady with a rat-dog and many more characters who will cross your path. Run for your lives!

Pros and cons of The Great Fusion app for iPhone and iPad

The Great Fusion app good for

If youre over 25 and enjoyed any of the Sierra adventure games, youll likely enjoy this. Modern humour, combining items, but just a few spelling and grammar things. Fun.
Classic point-and-click adventure game, Along the lines of secrets of monkey Island. Enjoyed a great deal. Game took about four hours.
Really great, funny point and click adventure. I played it a while ago, forgot to review it, saw it, remembered the whole story (and I play so many of these games, that is a testament to how good the story was) so I had to give a great review now. Think I may just play it again now!
Great game. Take your time and it all comes together. Well worth the price. Keep them coming
I like it, it is very interesting and I really like walking around and clicking on things.
Fun, makes you think what you have to use. Would be more fun if you had to use more collected items and the game was longer. Not that hard to figure out. Fun no the less.

Some bad moments

First off, you need a geeky sense of humor to appreciate some of the dialogue, most of which, unfortunately, is sloppily written. Gameplay is almost non-existent, as one reviewer already pointed out that solutions to puzzles are definitely not logical our rational. I got the game for free, but deleting it after about 40 minutes. It doesnt seem to offer anything rewarding or challenging, and Id feel ripped off if I paid for this. Too bad! Only gets 2 stars because of individually and occasional zany humor.
Worst game story ever. Incoherent, inconsistent, and improbable. So much so, it eclipses any good point the game may have.
I hate to slam an adventure game, especially in this day and age when each adventure game I can find with good production value is precious. My experience playing adventure games started from the late 80s, so I have played a fair share of good and bad ones. I have to say, we are not THAT desperate for adventure games that we need to tolerate puzzles and story progression that are nearly completely arbitrary, and sometimes downright illogical. For example, if I cant stopper a sink because there is too much trash in it that I cannot see the stopper, then why would putting an olive down there magically stopper the sink? The lack of sense is not an infrequent thing, but consistent throughout the game, which makes going forward a chore. The arbitrariness gets much worse near the end of the game, to the point that I felt cheated and insulted as a player, because I am compelled to play to the end to get the ending, and because I paid for this game already. There is one particular joke near the end of the game that would make you think about the very game you are playing: "No matter how much you try to polish a ... and pass it off as art, it will not be art. It is only considered art because society feels desperate for anything artistic." Fortunately, we are not living in the story of this game, and we are not that deprived of good things. There are far better adventure games out there, and Im not talking big budget (big budget dont make these types of game often anymore) but other indie developers who simply respect their audience a bit more. Advice to the developer. Please play test your game. If 10% of the time polishing the graphics went into finishing the game once or twice and polishing the gameplay, the game would have been 10 times better. You know what, sacrifice the quality of the graphics near the end. By the end of the game, if people have actually enjoyed the game up to that point, they wont care at all that the visual degraded a bit, but if the game was a horrible random mess to play through, then no matter how good it looks, people will force themselves to write a long and terrible review of it because they are so angry.
Ok game so far but I got the rat to clean the dishes and got through the pong part and then the game forgot to give me any instructions, Ive gone everywhere, talked and looked at and used everything but nothing is happening help
This game has an interesting back story and good graphics. But It is painful to play. There are very little hints in the game as what to do next and you end up doing random things until one of them works. At one point you have to figure out how to wash dishes without actually washing dishes because the character is too lazy to do it. Who would have thought you would need a rat and an olive to wash dishes?
The story of the game is ridiculous. I dont mind a silly plot line, if it is cleverly done. This is not the case with this app. The dialogue seems to have been written In another language and then someone used Google Translate to do an awful translation.
