The Great Fusion App Reviews

Wish it worked

I made it all the way to beach, but I cant clear the crowd, I cant get the job, I cant drink the cocktail, I cant get Woody to talk about the waitress, I cant even get to the Projectionist again. Is this a bug?!?!? So frustrated!!!

Flawed but Fun and Funny

The game was enjoyable to play, irreverant, and funny in an offbeat vein (but you need to be able to tolerate both the somewhat sophomoric humor and the broken English). Also, there were several hiccups in the action that required tediously repeating various conversations several times over and a hint system that stops about a third of the way into the game. Nevertheless, Im giving it 4 stars since Apple doesnt let customers award 3 1/2 stars mainly because it was worth the time spent playing it (I got it on a free promo). I do believe its worth $ .99 but no more than that.

Short and sweet

While the story is a bit odd i find this 5-8 hour long "point and click" to be charming. No idea what it costs now since i got it for free but i wouldnt mind paying a dollar for it.

its just ok

this game app was a good try, and can be good, however it was hard to understand how and what to pass scenes in this game.

Amazing

I love this game!!! Definitely recommend it!

Oh god the pain

So the art, mechanics, and concept were great, but the crappy English translation and mediocre story had fail stamped all over them. If they hired someone to translate it maybe it would have been a better game. Finally the hint system was a pain in the butt, and stopped providing hints half way through the game.

Its okay

Would have given it more stars but the game gets stuck at a certain point and does not go beyond with the story.I restarted so we will see if it works. Other than that it seems like a good game.

Cool artwork, but tough controls

Combine cheese on plates with a soapy rat to get dishes done? Stupid, waste of time to have to keep checking for hints. Art was very stylized, but just was too slow and clunky to keep interest Developers could add more options

Good point n click adventure

I mean leasure suit larry makes a cameo, the recipe for grog on Mele island is referenced, nuff said?

Pretty Entertaining

I games that are reminiscent of the Sierra Online and Lucas Arts point-and-click adventures from back in the day. Im not bothered by the slightly off English translations (kind of amusing) and the gameplay is fine. Controls are ok, but not the best. Its a good effort and I am enjoying playing. Love the context sensitive hint system just to give a nudge in the right direction when you get stuck and are ready to give up. But the challenge of figuring out occasional obscure puzzles is what these games are all about. I like!

Funny characters and interesting plot

But the game was far too short, the puzzles were ok but there wasnt enough adventure, I would of preferred less cut scenes and more gameplay.

Reminiscent of old Lucas Arts and Sierra games

As a child of the 80s, I can definitely appreciate this game! There is such a ridiculous dearth of actual point-and-click adventure games (I wish hidden object games had their own category) in the App Store that I dont even mind the slightly clunky controls.

Tons of fun

Love it. Totally worth it if you like this kind of game!

Extra star for being an adventure game

I love adventure games. I loved Myst and Broken Sword and Yesterday and Fester Mudd. But as hard as I tried, I couldt get into THIS adventure game. The story was silly, the graphics were utterly uninteresting, and the puzzles were so obscure and illogical that hints were imperative. Did I say hints? Well, what hints were available, since they disappeared early in the game, with the note that from here on out youre on your own. There is one complete walkthrough on-line, and not that easy to find. I suggest you find it and pin it into your browser. Youll need it.

Fun!

If youre a computer nerd, youll appreciate the not-too-subtle technological social commentary. If youre a male, youll appreciate the juvenile humor. I, myself, being a male computer geek, laughed out loud during this game. Good stuff!

Pretty fun game.

My only gripes with it are that it feels too much like a fetch quest and that having to swipe to pull out the inventory bar every single time got old and annoying immediately since you have to do it almost all the time in this game. Other than that, its pretty enjoyable.

Good game, cheap production

Ok plot and good puzzles. Would have been 5-star if dialogues were vocal and cut-scenes were videos.

Fun and challenging

I find the challenges difficult and makes you think. I like that it is not super easy!

Good Game

Pretty good

Terrible Writing

A game with promise that is ultimately deeply flawed not because of interaction or graphics but because the plot is horribly written, the characters each unlikable and the plot is confusing, far-fetched and flatly BORING. Pass on this game.
